    Plant and Insect BioBlitz hosted by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Location:  USACE parking lot by 8:00am but people can join throughout the day. People should bring water and a lunch and any gear they would like to use. I plan on providing dip nets, flying insect nets, magnifying boxes, etc., but don’t know if I will have enough for everyone.

    This year, our biennial Symposium will be a free, completely online event. The event's theme is "Sustaining Our Ecosystems and Connections to the Outdoors," featuring naturalist Harvey Webster as keynote speaker and many talks about pollinator habitat and sustaining a healthy food supply. Prerecorded talks will be available on our YouTube page on August 1 and a live keynote address will be held on August 19 at noon on Zoom with a Q&A session to follow.

    Join OSU's Ashley Kulhanek, Gabe Karns, Kathy Smith, and Marne Titchenell for a guided trail walk throughout the OSU Mansfield campus, discussing pollinators and other insects, reptiles and amphibians, birds, woodland management, invasive species, and tree ID. Space is limited to 25 attendees.  The day will be spent outside. Lunch and drinks to be provided.
