Being a Naturalist in the 21st Century: Community Science as a Tool for 21st Century Naturalists
Community science is transforming our understanding of plant and animal communities across the globe and is an exciting way for people to contribute to scientific understanding and conservation efforts close to home. Our goal for this webinar is to explore how professional naturalists, researchers, and educators use community science to inspire and educate the public and build scientific understanding.
Each panelist will share their personal and professional journey to connecting community science with the natural world, what has helped them, and their vision for the future. We will have plenty of time for questions and discussion.
You will leave the afternoon inspired and equipped with new knowledge and ideas for how community science can enhance your naturalist journey.
