Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day

On April 22, we celebrate the 50^th Anniversary of Earth Day, but it won’t be like many of us have been planning for the last many months.  Please be watching for announcements of Earth Day events at Ohio State. On April 15, you are invited to join us for a special webinar the School of Environment and Natural Resources (SENR) is hosting via our Environmental Professionals Network in collaboration with the Sustainability Institute (SI) at Ohio State. The webinar will include presentations from Bart Elmore (History) and Elena Irwin (SI/AEDE), as well as Jayson Velazquez (3^rd year SENR undergraduate student), all of whom will be reflecting on the past and future of the environment and sustainability, and future action on climate change.

In these challenging times, I hope all of you in your own way can make a special memory for this year’s 50^th Anniversary of Earth Day.
