EPN recording available 'Talking Climate in a Purple State'

Last week Dr. Katharine Hayhoe and a very engaging panel of Ohio-based climate science and policy leaders, provided an excellent series of talks on how to work through political polarities to pursue climate solutions and advance climate science.

Dr. Hayhoe is a remarkable communicator who has received the American Geophysical Union’s climate communication prize, the Stephen Schneider Climate Communication award, the United Nations Champion of the Earth award, and has been named to a number of lists including Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People, Foreign Policy’s 100 Leading Thinkers, and FORTUNE magazine’s World’s Greatest Leaders.

I recommend checking out her talks, as well as the panel conversations that accompanied them. Below are hyperlinks to the two program recordings edited on YouTube:

Part I: Talking Climate in a Purple State

Part II: High Resolution Climate Projections to Quantify Future Impacts

Dr. Hayhoe and the panelists shared a multitude of helpful and informative resources related to these topics. You can access a compilation of those resources here.
