Day 1 - Arrive and check in at Holmes with a View, welcome dinner and orientation;
Day 2 - Scenic drive through Holmes County focusing on geology and land use patterns. Visit The Wilderness Center for picnic lunch and discussion. Visit Yoder's Amish Farm, a traditional Amish homestead. Explore Walnut Creek before dinner. Relax around the campfire to end the day.
Day 3 - Breakfast in Fredericksburg following with exploration of area streams, marshes and bog. Wine tasting at Troutman Vineyards. Return to Holmes for dinner with a guest speaker on the history and culture of Holmes County.
Day 4 - Discover Holmes County forests with a visit to an old-growth forest, a local sawmill, lumberyard and furniture manufacturer. Conclude day with a hearty Amish buffet at Berlin Homestead.
Day 5 - Enjoy a final breakfast before check-out.
