Tour of the Sawmill Wetlands

Sawmill Wetlands is an 18-acre green oasis preserve surrounded by commercial and urban development. These vernal pools are crucial for clean water and are teeming with life. Thanks to the grass roots effort by the “Friends of the Sawmill Wetlands”, the preserve is once again open to the public and managed by ODNR Division of Wildlife. Educational events offer opportunities to experience this special ecosystem
