Join Wild Ohio as they explore the Birds of the Cleveland Loop of the Lake Erie Birding Trail at Wendy Park, Cleveland Lake Front Preserve, E. 55th Street Pier and Edgewater Park Marina.
The Cleveland loop of the Lake Erie Birding Trail is a hotspot right now. The trail is divided into seven loops and the Cleveland loop has many rare species of birds observed in the first week of December 2013 including 8 snowy owls, red phalarope, horned grebes, saw whet owl and thousands of red-breasted mergansers. Here is a short video that was taken last week to highlight a few of the most productive areas near Cleveland.
